BWNA’s fall speakers forum features Jim O’Connor of the U.S. Geological Survey on the glacial floods that carved the Columbia Gorge and Willamette Valley, and on what they left behind in Beaumont-Wilshire and surrounding neighborhoods. Dr. O’Connor studied geological science at the University of Washington and holds a master’s degree and doctorate from the University of Arizona.
