About the Event
The fun will begin at 9:30am - rain or shine - and continue until all 465 plants are safely tucked in the earth. Bring your own gloves and planting tools if you have them (limited supply will be available on site). Please meet at the brick park building.

The project is being made possible by a generous grant from the Portland Garden Club. The planting will be done under the supervision of Sicily Sardino, Wilshire Park’s new horticulturist, and Mike Grosso, Northeast Portland Parks Maintenance Supervisor. Friends of Wilshire Park prepared the grant application and are helping organize the event.
