Neighborhood Styrofoam & Electronics Recycling Event

Bring your Styrofoam, old batteries, and electronics to this BWNA-sponsored recycling event organized by neighbors Laurie Webber and Geoff Wickes. Donations accepted. This event will be in the parking lot across the street from the Great Spirit United Methodist church.

Required: Email Laurie.Webber2011@gmail.com ahead of the event with details about what you intend to drop off so we know how many trucks we’ll need!

Fees apply for some items to cover disposal costs. Styrofoam is accepted at $10 per 45-gallon bag (smaller amounts are prorated). Electronics are accepted for free, including broken holiday lights. Lithium batteries are accepted for free, with a small donation required for alkaline and car/motorcycle batteries.

Accepted: Styrofoam items include #6 Styrofoam, picnic and shipping coolers, sheets, clean take-out containers, packaged packing peanuts (to prevent mess), and XPS foam insulation.
