About the Event
In addition to regular updates from our committees, we will have guest visits from An Bui, constituent relations and communications liaison for Multnomah County Chair Jessica Vega Pedersen, and Stacy Carleton, Oregon Lutheran Synod's property care coordinator and community liaison regarding the fate of Bethany Lutheran Church at NE Skidmore and 37th.
Also on the agenda are concerns expressed by Mason Street residents regarding perceived negative impacts from a new cottage cluster development with no on-site parking; a petition advanced by Alameda and Beaumont-Wilshire residents demanding action to mitigate speeding on NE 33rd Avenue; plans to expand BWNA's pedestrian flag project; an in-house initiative to enhance the BWNA website; and preparation for summer events, including BWNA participation at Fremont Fest (August 2, organized by the Beaumont Business Association), BWNA co-hosting of Movie in the Park (August 7), and organizing for Beaumont-Wilshire's second-annual Skidmore Block Party (September 12, on Skidmore Street adjacent…
